I had read very good reviews about Roy's in the months of research I performed before leaving. The location isn't terribly impressive, but the food was pretty good. I had a shrimp dish that I enjoyed, but Kim didn't really like her dish much. The chocolate dessert that I read so many good reviews about I found to be a little bland. It was pretty good, but I've certainly had better. Of course, most restaurants on Hawaii are quite expensive, and I would not be willing to pay $85 again for the same food on the mainland.
