An interesting stone wall at South Point. If you went southwest from this area, you wouldn't run into substantial land for more than 3000 miles, when you'd run into Fiji. In terms of major land masses or islands, you'd have to travel more than 4000 miles to get to Papua New Guinea and more than 4500 miles to land on Australia.
