The supercell we were following began to decrease in size, something that rarely is something I want to see. Radar confirmed that it was slowly decreasing in intensity, a tendency we could easily see. Despite that, the upward motion of individual elements visible on the side of the updraft was quite remarkable, which isn't surprising given the magnitude of MLCAPE present. As the sun set, a nice ray of sunlight hitting the updraft tower provided for a nice photo opportunity.
